To achieve this certification, our growers passed an independent, third-party audit covering a variety of industry and consumer concerns including reduction of chemical use and toxicity, soil and water conservation, reduction of waste, protection of wildlife habitat, and traceability of sustainably-grown products certified by Protected Harvest. Preparing for and passing this rigorous audit clearly demonstrates the Wisconsin Healthy Grown® Potato farmer’s commitment to this important program.
