Late Blight Confirmed on Tomato and Potato from St. Croix Co. WI

Hello,

Sporulating lesions on tomato and potato samples were confirmed positive for late blight this morning from St. Croix County. We should know of the strain/genotype yet today.

Growers in western and north-central Wisconsin should be on alert that late blight spores may be in the area risking health of tomato and potato crops. More information will come later today.
