Grow for Wisconsin’s Cafeterias: Take the Farm to Institution Project Producer Survey

Are you a Wisconsin grower interested in selling more produce to aggregators, processors, and distributors? Take the Wisconsin Farm to Institution Procurement Project’s online survey to share your experience and interest in selling to these market channels: www.bit.ly/grow4WI.

Through the Wisconsin Farm to Institution Procurement Project, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is working to expand opportunities for Wisconsin’s producers who would like to sell more to intermediaries like aggregators, processors, and distributors. The project’s goal is to increase the amount of locally grown foods purchased by Wisconsin’s schools, hospitals, colleges, and other cafeteria settings around the state.

In appreciation for your time, participants can choose to receive a free copy of FamilyFarmed’s Wholesale Success: A Farmer’s Guide to Food Safety, Selling, Postharvest Handling, and Packing Produce. Take the survey by July 7th, 2017.
