Wisconsin Potatoes-Specific Episode with Mad Dog and Merrill to Air in September

August 27^th was a jam-packed and fun-filled day spent on the Great Lakes Naval Station Military Base in Great Lakes, Illinois. It’s the day that the grilling-duo Mad Dog and Merrill filmed a Wisconsin Potato-specific episode on the base with participation from military personnel themselves.

The Spudmoible was also there welcoming 2,500 runners back from their either 5 or 10 nautical mile course. Those who came into the Spudmobile enjoyed trying the free potato performance muffin samples while also learning about the Badger State’s potato industry. Those who came through the Spudmobile also made their way over to Mad Dog and Merrill’s grills where they were preparing red, white and blue themed potato dishes including potato pizza, bacon-wrapped fingerlings, and potato kabobs.
