Interview with Lynda Bula

In 1992, Lynda Bula of Gary Bula Farms, Inc., Grand Marsh, became the first woman to serve on the WPVGA Board of Directors. She completed six years of service on the Board in 1997. In 2004 she was re-elected to the WPVGA Board, and is now in her tenth year of service to the WPVGA.

Natives of Antigo, Lynda and her husband, Gary, have been farming together for 36 years. They raise 4,500 acres of potatoes, sweet corn, green beans,
peas, alfalfa, soybeans and field corn. In addition to their farm in Grand Marsh, they also have been farming in Benton, Missouri since 1989, where they raise 2,500 acres of potatoes, canola, field corn, soybeans, milo and sunflowers.
