Interview with Tim Feit
The leader of the WPVGA’s marketing program for the past three years has been Tim Feit. As the Director of Promotions and Consumer Education, Feit is the point man on all of the WPVGA’s marketing efforts, which include: exhibiting at industry trade shows; coordinating a direct mail program to produce buyers; internet marketing/web site development; public relations; sponsorship
of special events, including Powered by Potatoes athletic events and the Spud Bowl; grower communication; shipper training; and Healthy Grown potato promotions.
Within those broad categories are a myriad of responsibilities. Suffice it to say that
Feit is constantly on the go, working on topics as diverse as new potato packaging
to web site strategy to market research to recipe contest development, and so on.
