Late Blight – Additional Confirmation in Dane County

August 18th, 2016 | Posted in: Crop Updates, News

Hello,

I wanted to alert the growing community of another confirmation of late blight on tomato from Dane County as of today, 8/18/16. This is the second county in WI to have confirmed late blight. The first report came from a single farm (tomato and potato) from Polk County (US-23) on 8/15/16. Via this email I also want to correct my original report. The location of the initial farm find was in Polk County and NOT St. Croix County as I originally reported. This was my error in associating farm location with the nearest city and corresponding county. My apologies for the error.

I will update our readership with further information as it comes.

Regards,
Amanda
