Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association

2016 Potato D.C. Fly-In Comes at a Critical Time for Potato Growers

On February 22-25, potato growers and industry professionals will travel to Washington, D.C., from all over the country to lend their voice by telling real stories from the farm to lawmakers and agency officials. With TPP, voluntary GMO labeling, agriculture research funding levels and other impactful issues still under debate, growers will visit their representatives on Capitol Hill and share their concerns. Congress recently held an oversight hearing on the impact of EPA policies on agriculture, so things are heating up with federal agencies and this is the perfect time to be present and provide input on the matter. Register today for the Potato D.C. Fly-In and stand up for potatoes on Capitol Hill.
