5 Module U.S. Fresh Potato Training Program Now Available for Produce Associates
The United States Potato Board (USPB) has developed five “Fresh Potato Associate Training Modules” in an effort to ensure produce associates are armed with valuable information on potatoes. This training is an on-line tool that can be used by all retailers to provide education on harvest and packing, storage and handling, potato varieties, nutrition and marketing strategies. Not only can training increase sales, but proper storage and handling of the potato table will help maintain quality and decrease shrink.
