Ag Day on Campus to be Held at UW-Madison

Members of the Collegiate Farm Bureau will be giving students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison an opportunity to interact with agriculture at Ag Day on Campus. The activities will be held April 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Library Mall.

“We are excited to host the fifth annual Ag Day on Campus to help students get connected with the agricultural industry that produces the food we eat every day,” said Kate Griswold, University of Wisconsin-Madison student majoring in Life Sciences Communication and member of CFB. “For the third year in a row, we will be partnering with the University Club on campus and will be providing food products grown and produced right here in Wisconsin.”

The Collegiate Farm Bureau will be handing out food samples using products from Wisconsin including milk from Sassy Cow Creamery, Rushing Waters Smoked Trout, Gardens To Be micro greens, Franklin pork, Pure Sweet Honey, Underground Butchers meats and artisanal Wisconsin cheeses.

The public is also encouraged to check out the menu at the University Club that day, which will be featuring some of these products.
