AgSource Laboratories to Host Open House

MARSHFIELD, Wis. – Please join AgSource Laboratories for a public open house on Thursday, April 26, from 2–4 p.m.

“With all the snow piled up outside, it’s hard to believe spring will ever arrive. Soon enough, it will be here, and spring is a great time to test your well water or drinking water source,” says Eric Helms, Director, Market Development at AgSource Laboratories. “Stop by the open house, and pick up your free water sample bottles and sampling guide.”

The laboratory is located in the Marshfield Air Business Park at 3700 Downwind Drive. AgSource Laboratories moved to Marshfield from Stratford in June of 2014, after out-growing the previous facility.

The open house will include light refreshments and tours of the laboratory. The facility focuses on three main areas of analyses: milk, food product and water. Each day, the laboratory processes thousands of samples, ranging from homeowner, livestock producer and vegetable grower’s water samples to cheese and whey products and milk samples from dairy plants. This couldn’t be accomplished without our over 35- member team, who combined, represent more than 150 years of laboratory experience.
