Field Operations Specialist Position Available Deadline Extended to May 14

The Wisconsin Seed Potato Certification Program is charged with providing tissue culture generated, variety pure, disease-free foundation potato stocks to the Wisconsin certified seed potato industry. Work is performed at the Lelah Starks elite foundation seed potato farm (the State Farm) located in Rhinelander, WI. The production at the farm consists of 50 varieties sold from field generation one and two from approximately 100 acres of potato production annually.

This position leads the agronomic team by assisting in production planning, implementation of best practices in field operations, and lead process improvement efforts. This person works in cooperation with Agriculture Supervisor to coordinate staffing, supplies, and equipment for successful outcomes of production. This position requires some night and weekend work, and limited travel.
