Message from WPVGA Executive Director Tamas Houlihan

Dear WPVGA Members:

I hope you are taking care of yourselves and your families as we all deal with the coronavirus pandemic. This is a time of great uncertainty, and we, like all others, are in uncharted waters.

For all of our members, I want to provide a brief update on how the WPVGA staff is managing through this.

Our highest priority is to keep our employees healthy and safe and to do our part to slow the spread of the virus.  Therefore, the majority of the WPVGA staff is working remotely through the end of the month.  We are allowing one staff member at a time to go to the office and conduct daily business as needed.  We are utilizing zoom to conduct virtual meetings, while also making good use of the telephone conference line as well as emails, texts and phone calls.  Feel free to contact me at any time at 715-551-0775 (well, just about any time).

Following health guidance, we have canceled Spudmobile events for the near future. We have not yet made a decision on the May schedule of events, or others going forward, but will do so in the near future.

We are committed to completing the tasks that are vital to the success of the WPVGA and I am certain that we will do so. Please continue to check your emails and read the weekly Tater Talk newsletter, which contains important information for you and your businesses.  We are all in this together, and we’ll get through it. Thank you for your continuing support.

Sincerely,

Tamas Houlihan
Executive Director, WPVGA
