McCain Foods has two career opportunities for agronomy managers:

Agronomy Manager – CPITI

The Agronomy Manager CPITI is responsible for deployment of new agriculture technologies and the development and management of field crop experiments directly related to the Canadian Potato Industry Transformation Initiative/Drive for 45. The role of the Agronomy Manager is to identify, develop and implement breakthrough technical advances resulting in step-change productivity improvement, sustainable cost advantage, quality improvement, disease management and risk reduction for the Northeast region. This individual develops and leads research and extension work/communication to create/promote emerging agriculture technologies, new techniques and transfer of best growing practices, and seeks external support and/or funding for projects.

Agronomy Manager- Valley Farms

The Agronomy Manager Valley Farms is responsible for providing direction for the transformation of McCain’s current potato production farm into a state-of-the-art farm operation by driving technology implementation and providing agronomic support in all aspects of planning, execution and monitoring of the farm’s crops.
