WFU Seeking Workshop Presenters for Convention

The Wisconsin Farmers Union is in the process of booking workshop presenters and other speakers for its 85th convention this winter. The annual conference takes place January 29-31 at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton.

The theme will be ‘Wisconsin Farmers Union: Remembering Our Roots.’

Organizers say workshop and session proposals are being sought on a variety of topics, including but not limited to: resiliency in agriculture, conservation, policy issues, beginning farmer or practical farmer knowledge, financial management, farm transition, marketing, agritourism and more.

A limited number of speakers are needed for policy breakouts on Saturday and workshops on Sunday, all of which are an hour long.

Those interested in presenting or in nominating a presenter are encouraged to submit a proposal by calling 715-723-5561.
