Wisconsin Potato Growers Invited to Dinner with International Chefs

Dear Wisconsin Potato Growers,

The Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Growers Association and Potatoes USA invite you to join us at the Sky Club Restaurant in Plover on Tuesday, October 8 at 6:30 p.m. for a wonderful dinner with international chefs and Potatoes USA representatives. The chefs come from over 11 different countries across the globe.

The group is visiting the United States for Potatoes USA’s Reverse Trade Mission (RTM), which focuses on teaching chefs about U.S. potatoes — from where/how they’re grown to product applications/techniques in the kitchen. As part of the weeklong tour, it is important that the chefs visit a farm, packing shed and processing plant as wells as engage with U.S. potato growers. The chefs enjoy learning hands-on about the state-of-the-art practices and processes that U.S. growers implement each day and it would truly mean a lot to the group if they could speak to a “real life” potato grower over dinner.

We hope you are able to join us and we are especially grateful for your time during this busy season. If you’d like to attend, please RSVP to Tamas Houlihan at 715-551-0775 or email: [email protected]. Thank you!
