Produce Safety Trainings

UW – Madison has 6 Produce Safety Trainings scheduled for January and February. (These trainings meet the legal requirements for farms covered under the Produce Safety Rule.)

• January 14, 2020 – Black River Falls, WI
• January 17, 2020 – Whitewater, WI
• January 26, 2020 – Wisconsin Dells, WI
• February 11, 2020 – Appleton, WI
• February 21, 2020 – Dalton, WI
• February 25, 2020 – West Bend, WI

Growers can register by going to the Extension Produce Safety Website.

Furthermore, we have 2 Produce Safety Plan Workshops scheduled in March. These workshops will help growers establish on-farm produce safety plans in place to help ensure food safety and comply with the Produce Safety Rule.

• March 17, 2020 – Fond du Lac Extension Office, WI
