I received confirmation today from Ralph Frederick of AMVAC Chemical Corp
that Blocker, pentachloronitrobenzene or PCNB, has received EPA
registration.
Available are 2 formulations (both labels attached to this message):
1) Blocker 4F (40% PCNB), with use on: POTATOES for stem canker/black scurf
at 5-10 pt/acre at planting; broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage and
cauliflower for clubroot at 5.62 gal/acre; and cotton for damping off at
1.5-3 pt/acre.
2) Blocker 10G (10% PCNB), with use on: POTATOES for stem canker/black
scurf at 1.65 lb/1000 linear row ft (equivalent to 25 lb/field acre, 34-in
row spacing); further specifications across cole crops including cabbage,
cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, collards, kale, mustard greens, and broccoli;
and cotton for damping off at 10-20 lb/acre.
