Farm to Institution Project – Grower Meeting Follow-up

Wisconsin Farm to School initiative is trying to help Wisconsin growers and agricultural producers expand the state’s products into other areas through a grant-funded project. On December 2, Wisconsin Farm to School organized a meeting for growers and producers to meet in Whitewater and learn more about accessing markets like schools, hospitals, and universities while also partnering with processors and distributors. The meeting was designed for those in the apple, broccoli, carrot, potato and yogurt industries per this grant-funded project. For more information, or to get involved, please refer to the following documents:

  • Powerpoint slides from the Dec 2 Grower Meeting
  • Grower questionnaire (If you did not attend the meeting and would like us to have information regarding the products you have available, you may fill out this form and return.)
  • Sample documents regarding vendor registration/requirements with a processing/distribution company. (Please note that these are sample documents from one company, included only to give an idea for the information needed – Farm Supplier App Renewal and Producer Product Specification Request)

If you have questions, please contact WPVGA at 715-623-7683.
