Help! Afternoon Volunteers Badly Needed for FMSC Mobile Packing Event

June is upon us and with it comes our annual Feed My Starving Children Mobile Packing event.  The Wisconsin Potato Growers Auxiliary are busily preparing and excited to host their second officially sponsored event.  Although both morning shifts are full with volunteers, we are in great need of volunteers for the afternoon shifts.  If you and/or any of your family, friends or neighbors are willing to give two hours of your day to aid in the fight against hunger and starvation, please consider helping our cause by volunteering for one of our afternoon shifts (2-4 p.m. or 4:30-6:30 p.m.) on Saturday, June 20 at the Noel Hangar in Stevens Point.

Thanks to the founding efforts of Mike & Ali Carter and Tamas & Paula Houlihan in years past combined with our hosting of the project last year, our industry supported event has packed and distributed over half a million potato-based meals to starving children around the world!

For those of you who wish to continue your support and those who wish to join us as a volunteer or contribute to the event, simply visit the FMSC website to make your donation and/or select a time to work the event.  The site is live and open for registration.   Or you may mail donations to the WPVGA office at PO Box 327, Antigo, WI, 54409.

Remember, only two hours of your weekend will feed thousands of children throughout the year.  Join us as we help further our efforts to feed the world and share the giving heart of our wonderful industry.
