Interview with Scott Sanford
Scott Sanford is a Senior Outreach Specialist in the UW-Madison Department of Biological Systems Engineering. This position is funded by Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy program and provides technical support to its agricultural program area.
Scott has been in this position for five years. He worked for 17 years in
the dairy equipment business before joining UW-Madison, holding positions in engineering and marketing. He is a graduate of Cornell University with
a BS and Master of Engineering in Agricultural Engineering. He’s a member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) and is currently program chair for the Wisconsin Section and Chairman of the committee on Milking Equipment at the national level.
