Interview with Andy Diercks

Andy Diercks appears to be a man on a mission.

If you read the mission statement of the WPVGA, it says: “To assist WPVGA members to be successful through education, information, environmentally sound research, promotion, governmental action, and involvement.” A case could easily be made that Andy is active in all of these areas which are critical to the WPVGA’s success.

Diercks, along with his father, Steve, owns and operates a 2,700-acre potato and vegetable farm in Coloma, Wisconsin. Andy has been farming since 1993 and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Agricultural Engineering.
